Along the way we have experienced great service and amenities at reasonable prices and we have experience poor service at exorbitant prices. We have all been there. A marina will advertise WIFI and it doesn't work or the showers are broken or no hot water and on and on. What ever happened to the days when the per foot price included the amenities? Not sure who started this bait a switch bull crap and why we fell for it, but we need to do something about it. Hell when I go to a dock I'm going there to rent the hole in the water where my boat sits and have the privilege to tie lines to the pilings. I don't want to buy the damned thing! For the prices some of the marinas are charging you can get a room at the Ritz Carlton. Come on - it's a hole in the water, not cashmere sheets and hot tubs.
